In my previous post I discussed my Genealogy Diary where I record my thoughts, analysis, and what I record and why. As I was looking it over I noticed that I hadn't been recording dates. I said I would show you how my workflow technique helped me correct this with confidence. The real reason to keep track of dates is so that you can remember when you last look at different repositories. Why is this important because resources are digitized, found, and released all the time. If it's been a few years go back and see if anything new has come up.
So just a reminder old Genealogy Diary:
Now I can add the Dates that I forgot to enter by going back to my sources and using the recorded date I add that date in my Diary for that source.
